PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce air vibration noise being generated by an insulating medium by providing a deflector for avoiding collision of the insulating medium against a structure at the tank side opening of piping for supplying the insulating medium. SOLUTION: A transformer body 1A supported on a structure 3 is contained in a transformer tank 4 coupled with a heat exchanger 5 through gas piping 7a, 7b. The lower gas piping 7b is provided with a gas blower 6 for taking, gas from the transformer body 1A through cooling gas 8 and delivering the heat to the heat exchanger 5. The cooling gas 8 cooled through the hear exchanger 5 is supplied again into the transformer tank in order to cool down the transformer body 1A. In this regard, fluid noise is reduced by providing a deflector 10 for avoiding collision of the cooling gas 8 against the structure 3 at the opening of tank side gas piping 7c for supplying the cooling gas 8 to the heat exchanger side.
