PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image read system capable of relating a read image to user information corresponding to the read image. SOLUTION: The image read system is provided with an image reader 101 for reading out an original and outputting image data and an information processing terminal 102 for inputting data outputted from the image reader 101. The terminal 102 is provided with a transfer part for transferring system user information to the reader 101. The reader 101 is provided with a read part for reading out an original and an output part for outputting image data read out by the read part and specific user information selected from the user information transferred from the terminal 102 and corresponding to the read image data to the terminal 102.
