<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the S/N of a reverse link by imparting a synchronizing system through a reverse link to respective mobile station signals or the like, calculating a Walsh code for minimizing interference among a large member of mobile stations, assigning the calculated Walth code to each mobile station and spreading the mobile station signal through a thermal direction link or the like. SOLUTION: In this Walsh code assigning method, the Walsh code and a PN code are multiplied on the reverse link and respective mobile station signals are divided. On the reverse link, the signals of respective mobile stations to be received through multiple paths at any arbitrary base station are not mutually synchronized and even in the case of signals or the like to be received by the same mobile station, the strength and delay characteristics of signals are mutually difference for each of multiple routes. Therefore, first of all, the respective mobile station signals through the multiple paths of the inverse link are synchronized and after channels are estimated concerning all orthogonal function codes by synchronized mobile stations, the optimum orthogonal function code is calculated.</p> |
