PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound core transformer which can have its steel-made band, metallic coil spool, metallic coil presser, etc., which are grounded easily and its manufacturing method of a wound core transformer equipped with a wound core, such as an amorphous wound core having a steel-made band wound around an outermost shell and a coil into which the wound core is inserted. SOLUTION: This wound core transformer, equipped with a wound core 1 having a steel-made band 11 wound around the outer most shell and a coil 2 into which the wound core 1 is inserted, is equipped with a common ground conductor 3 to which ground lead members 31 are connected. The common ground conductor 3, the ground lead member 31 (32, 33) from the steel-made band 11, metallic coil spool, metallic coil presser are connected.
