PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulating method for OS(operating system) file, recording medium recording program for the same and manipulating system for OS file with which the data access to the table of a DB(data base) and OS file can be handled with the same operability. SOLUTION: This system has a means 109 for providing the definition of OS file with the same operability as the table of DB, means 102 for discriminating whether the destination of access is the table of DB or OS file and common access means 103 for referring to or changing a value from the OS file. Since a defining person defines a class to identify whether the destination is the table of DB or OS file at the time of definition, the access to the OS file can be provided with the same operability as the table of DB.
