The source includes a heatable radiating body (4) made of metal whose surfaces act as a radiating surface. The body is made of titanium or a titanium alloy. The radiating surface is provided with a black oxide ceramic layer consisting substantially of titanium dioxide. A spiral heating wire may be arranged in the threads of a bore in the body.
