The fuse insert has a switch condition display provided by a parallel display fuse conductor (4), monitoring of the switch condition of the main fuse conductor (1) and holding a fuse condition display button (15) held against the force of a release spring.The fuse condition display button is contained in a bore in the housing of the fuse insert, closed by a cover with a different color to the display button, which is tapered at its end for rupturing the cover upon its release.
