An energy accumulator (3) is coupled to an additional tool (4), accumulating energy from relative top and bottom tool movement (1,2), possibly using a gas storage or spring. The accumulator is coupled to the tool by a release device (5), this being mechanically operated or actuated in a closed tool setting. The accumulator (3) is coupled hydraulically to a pre-clamping cylinder unit (6) and also coupled to the additional tool actuator unit (7). The release device includes an hydraulic valve (8) to which is coupled the releasing element (9), itself as activated by top and/or bottom tool and the actuator unit for tool should include a piston and cylinder unit.
