The drive has a drive and guide arrangement (14), which is mounted on the instrument body and has a drive cylinder with a piston for axial movement. The drive and guide arrangement is arranged so that a moveable part of the instrument can move synchronous to the piston. A control device (16), which is arranged remotely from the instrument body, delivers hydraulic fluid to the drive and guide arrangement, to move the piston.
