<p>A conductive contact is provided which can be of lower resistance than those having a combination of a conductive needle and a conductive coiled spring because it includes no joint between different components. The conductive contact takes the shape of a coiled spring that is coated with highly conductive material and wound so that adjacent coils are in close contact with one another. Therefore, a linear electrical path is formed in parallel to the axis of the coiled spring, resulting in low impedance. The coiled spring is of single pitch winding and it can be formed simply of regular-pitch part and contact-coil part, thus reducing manufacturing costs.</p> |
