Inertial three axis orientation measurement device (1.1) and position sensor are located on body part. Position sensor is positioned on reference body part. Signals from measurement device and sensor are fed to signal and data processing unit. Position and orientation of body part is determined relative to coordinate system defined on reference body part and source and orientation angle of coordinate system connected with body part or measurement device.
