摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain composite material of fullerene and synthetic polymer having anionic group in the molecule, capable of stably retaining polyanion, radical anion mode of fullerenes in water and useful for functional material including fullerenes having large flexible surface area or excellent fibers by comprising the fullerenes and a specific poly(styrene sulfonate) tetraalkylammonium. SOLUTION: The subject composite material is consisting of fullerenes and the poly(styrenesufonate)tetraalkylammonium of formula I (R1 to R4 are each an alkyl; degree of polymerization n is 10 to 10,000), preferably formula II (fullerene is C60, C70, C82 or C86; x is 0.01 to 0.99). This composite material can be formed into film by casting. The film is obtained by casting the organic solution, for example benzene solution, of fullerene/synthetic lipid organic solvent, air-dried and annealed for 30 minutes at 55 deg.C.
