摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction welding equipment for a propeller shaft in which the clamp holding torque is small, a clamp jig is miniaturized, the durability is improved, and the commercial value of a product is improved. SOLUTION: In a friction welding equipment in which a first shaft member 2 and a second shaft member 3 are simultaneously friction-welded to both end of an intermediate shaft member 1, the intermediate shaft member 1 is held by a clamp jig 5, the first shaft member 2 is held by a first rotation holding jig 6 in an axially rotatable manner concentrically by one end side of the intermediate shaft member 1 held by the clamp jig 5, and the second shaft member 3 is held by a second rotation holding jig 7 in an axially rotatable manner concentrically by the other end side of the intermediate shaft member 1 held by the clamp jig 5, the first rotation holding jig 6 and the second rotation holding jig 7 are rotated in the direction opposite to each other, and the first shaft member 2 and the second shaft member 3 are respectively and axially moved to both ends of the intermediate shaft member 1, and pressed while being rotated.
