PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld a covering body easily to a recessed part for mounting a strap, and seal the recessed part completely, in manufacturing an airbag door core. SOLUTION: The strap S of an airbag door is inserted through a strap insertion hole 18 at the bottom surface of a recessed part 15 formed at the surface of an airbag door core body 11. A prescribed part of the strap S is positioned inside the recessed part 15, and the other portion of the strap S is positioned on the back surface side of the core body 11. The covering body 31 is placed on a shelf part 16 at the inner periphery of the recessed part 15, and the recessed part 15 is covered with it. The surface of the edge 32 of the covering body is pressed with a heat cutting edge 41, the whole periphery of the covering body is welded to the edge 20 of the recessed part for sealing. |
