PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operating device for reclining mechanism, which is to be incorporated in a car seat, etc., and can exert an excellent remote operability. SOLUTION: A bracket 6 is installed ahead of an upper rail 3 corresponding to the side of a seat cushion and bears rotatably a shaft 8 fitted with a link plate 7. A reclining lever 5 is attached to this shaft 8, and the link plate 7 is coupled by a link rod 11 to a release arm 10 of a seat reclining mechanism 9, and it is possible to remotely operate the release arm 10 by the lever 5.
