PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform dissection for the peripheral mucosa of a mucosa to be resected more safely and surely as compared with the operation using a needle knife, and easily and collectively resect a mucosal tumor of above a designated size difficult to be resected by the conventional operation by clamping the mucosa and then performing dissection with high-frequency current. SOLUTION: A liquid such as physiological saline or the like is first injected in the mucosa lower layer of mucosa to be dissected by a local injection needle to raise up the mucosa. The raised mucosa to be dissected is clamped by a mucossa dissection forceps. After it is enough confirmed that the region to be dissected is well clamped and a muscular tunics is not clamped, and further the safety is confirmed, a high-frequency current is let flow to dissect the mucosa while the forceps is pulled. By repeating the operation, a resection line is extended to complete the predetermined mucosa dissection. Thus, the forceps can be used in treating and inspecting a mucosal lesion of an esophagus, stomach or large intestine and used for mucosal dissection as assistance for the endoscopic mucosal resection. |
