PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the difficulty of a pneumatic caisson, and to obviate the uneven settlement of an installed water storage tank excellently when a ground is dug down and the underground buried water storage tank is constructed. SOLUTION: The underground water storage tank buried under a ground by digging down the ground is composed of a cylindrical side wall body 2 and a bottom slab 3 constituting the bottom section of the cylindrical side wall body 2. Supporting sections 15 supporting the peripheral section of the bottom slab 3 from a lower section are projected integrally to the inside of the lower end section of the cylindrical side wall body 2 at that time.
