PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door lock easy in each operation for temporary locking, formal locking and unlocking. SOLUTION: A sliding door lock which can be locked and unlocked by a key operation and is provided with a sickle iron 1 independently lock-unlockable inside a lockcase 2 has a lock device 3 to be locked by inserting a key 4; a knob 8 protruded from the lock case 2 for operating the sickle iron 3; and an operation member 5 which is provided between the lock device 3 and the knob 8 and movingly operated in the lock case 2. When the lock device is opened, the operation member can be movingly operated in the lock case 2 by operating the knob 8, and the sickle iron 1 can be switchably operated. When the lock device 3 is closed, the operation member 5 moves inside the lock case 2 to close the sickle iron 1 and the knob 3 is simultaneously impossible in operation, and when the lock device is turned from closing into opening, the operation member moves in the lock case 2 to open the sickle iron. When the sickle iron 1 is closed and the lock device 3 is opened, the lock device 3 can be closed without taking with the movement of the operation member 5.
