PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a prophylatic against pollinosis which not only acts directly on pollen causing pollinosis to destroy the pollen but also shows excellent deactivation effect on the inside antigen and gives no irritation to mucosa by including a water-swelling clay mineral with a specific range of average particle diameter or the like. SOLUTION: This prophylatic is obtained by including a water-swelling clay mineral (e.g. bentonite, montmorillonite, saponite or the like), which shows 1-5000 nm, preferably 200-2000 nm, in the average particle diameter measured by dynamic light scattering, 30 mV or more in the absolute value of zeta potential measured by electrophoretic light scattering and 90% or more, preferably 95% or more, in the purity obtained by powder X-ray diffractometry, preferably in a proportion of 0.001-10 wt.% more preferably 0.05-5 wt.%. This medicine can be blended with miscellaneous goods, cosmetics or medicines and is useful in the prevention of pollinosis caused by Japanese cedar pollen or the like. |
