PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent offsets when printed sheets are being carried to a book binder, to surely supply even thin printed sheets to the hook binder, and to reduce a cost and space. SOLUTION: This device has a printed sheet hopper 11 storing a printed sheet group formed by stacking a large number of printed sheets P, a printed sheet detecting part 14 sensing the height of the printed sheet group in the printed sheet hopper 11, a lift 12 moving up and down the printed sheet group vertically, a push bar 29 pushing the spine of the printed sheets P to separate a bundle of printed sheets at the top of the printed sheet group, a clamp part 22 holding the bundle of printed sheets separated by the pushing bar 29, driving parts 21 and 23 moving the pushing bar 29 and the clamp part 22, a conveyer part 24 receiving the edge side of the bundle of printed sheets to carry the bundle of printed sheets held by the clamp part 22 to a book binder 30, and a temporary receiving plate part 27 slidably formed at the entrance of a hopper 30a of the book binder 30 and loading and guiding the bundle of printed sheets carried therein into the hopper 30a of the book binder 30.
