PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for cash loading and unloading on/ from a special vehicle such as a bank cash transport vehicle whereby the cash loading and unloading operations can be executed safely while an attack of burglers, etc., is hindered. SOLUTION: Between a bank and a cash transport vehicle A, cash, etc., are transported by a dolly 20 which transports cash, etc., in the closed condition. The rear of the vehicle A is partitioned by a bulkhead 5 into a stacking chamber 6 and a transfer chamber 7, and using an elevation device 15 the dolly 20 is accommodated in the transfer chamber 7, and upon putting the transfer chamber 7 in the tightly closed condition, the cash, etc., is transferred between the stacking chamber 6 and dolly 20 through a door 13 in the bulkhead 5.
