PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put on a headlight automatically before actual starting. SOLUTION: An automatic lighting switch 1 can be operated externally and emits signals in accordance with its being put on and off. An ignition switch 2 emits a signal in accordance with the position of ignition key inserted, while a shift lever position switch 3 emits a signal in accordance with the position of a shift lever provided in this automatic transmission system. A headlight lighting control means 64 lights up a headlight 7 through a drive circuit 5 when the switches 1 and 2 are on and the shift lever is turned into the drive position.
