<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the temp. of a rolled stock without enhancing cost in the case the size, materials or the like of the rolled stock are changed. SOLUTION: This temp. measuring device 32 is provided with a radiation thermometer 33 which is installed on the inlet side and/or the outlet side of a roughing universal mill and/or an edger mill for rolled wide flange shapes, elevating and lowering device 34 for elevating and lowering the radiation thermometer 33 and elevating/lowering controller 35 for controlling the elevating and lowering device 34 so that the radiation thermometer 33 becomes an installation height which is decided based on the material and size of the material 30 to be rolled which is conveyed.</p> |
