<p>Pneumatic conveyor system, particularly for moving radioactive samples from any one despatch point to any other, esp. from one glove box to another, comprises at least two plug/socket units consisting of a body which can be fixed to a sample despatch station and having three openings, namely a first connected to a sample conveying pipe, a second aligned with the first and connected to a tube plugged at one end and a third connected to a three-way valve which can be connected via filter either to a reduced pressure circuit or to atmosphere, the body which contains the plug unit proper being able to pivot so that it is either directed towards the despatch station or is connecte to the three openings.</p> |
