PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a therapeutic agent for ischemic disease, developing action of inhibiting abnormal depolarization of neurocyte in an ischemic state expressed only in a pathological condition caused by anoxia, having little side-effect and useful as the therapeutic agent for ischemic cerebropathia by including inflammatory tissue extract inoculated with vaccinia virus. SOLUTION: This therapeutic agent for ischemic disease contains inflammatory tissue extract inoculated with vaccinia virus (pref. inflammatory skin tissue extract of a rabbit inoculated with vaccinia virus) as an active principle. The agent can be administered as a injection, an oral preparation, etc., and its does is basically 16 Neurotropin unit(NU)/day orally and 3.6-7.2 NU/day by injection according to Drugs in Japan. |
