PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily conduct one-side electrolysis as well as both-side electrolysis in an electrolyzer for anodization and to eliminate the local consumption of an electrode. SOLUTION: An electrode 6 for one side is provided above an aluminum sheet 5 in an electrolytic cell, and an electrode 7 for the other side is furnished below the sheet 5 and opposed to the electrode 6. The anode of an electrolytic power source 9 is connected to a feeder electrode 8, the cathode of the power source 9 is connected to the electrode 6 and further to the electrode 7 through a changeover switch 10. The anode of a power source 11 for one-side electrolysis is connected to the feeder electrode 8, the cathode is connected to the electrode 7, and only one side of the aluminum sheet 5 opposed to the electrode 6 is electrolyzed. When the side of the sheet opposed to the electrode 7 is not electrolyzed, a minus voltage is impressed on the electrode 7.
