PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint which enables switching water-carrying and water- stopping states with each other, regulates sliding of a cylindrical body under the water-carrying state, suppresses increase in size, and hardly causes unevenness on an outer periphery. SOLUTION: When a fluid source side body 1 and an equipment side body 2 in this joint is relatively rotated, a valve element 9 is axially moved for switching water-carrying and water-stopping states with each other. When the bodies 1, 2 are relatively rotated and the valve element 9 is axially moved to the water stopping position, a stopper 40 is faced to a notch 41 to allow sliding a cylindrical body 12.
