The invention relates to the signalling and indication of parking places. The technical problem related to parking places is due to the fact that the driver who is in the parking area has no help to know which parking place is free; as a consequence, he has to look for a free box and that could cause an accident, a waste of time and a reduction of the traffic fluidity, etc. The solution proposed is to provide the driver with visual information identifying the situation of the parking places. This solution is implemented through the "signalling system for indicating the status and location of parking places", whereby the parking area has signalling devices distributed strategically, said devices being used by the drivers to identify the status and location of the parking places. To this effect, devices will be installed in each parking place in order to detect the presence of a motor vehicle (pressure sensor, movement sensor, electromagnetic sensor, etc) through which it will be possible to update the signalling system. |
