发明名称 PROCESS FOR REDUCING FLOWING ACCELERATED CORROSION OF CARBON STEEL PIPE
摘要 PURPOSE: A process for reducing the corrosion of carbon steel pipe is provided to prevent flow accelerated corrosion without influencing any operation condition completely. CONSTITUTION: The measures for preventing or alleviating a decrease in thickness of carbon steel pipe may be taken against only a position on which a flow accelerated corrosion is now in rapid progress and possible to be generated. In the first measure a magnetic pad much of a form of the pipe is made and attached to the exterior wall of carbon steel pipe. To fix the magnetic pad to the exterior wall of carbon steel pipe may be applied by a conventional method. The pad should be designed by the thickness and material of pipe, the progression degree of flow accelerated corrosion, and a shape and area of position affected by flow accelerated corrosion. In the second measure the induction of electromagnetic field may be used when raising oxide coating density by using electromagnetic field is necessary.
