PURPOSE: A buffering material for packing a washing machine is provided to prevent a product from shaking and to protect the upper surface of the washing machine by introducing an upper buffering material between the upper surface of the washing machine and a packing box. CONSTITUTION: A buffing material for packing a washing machine comprises:an upper surface protecting unit(80) arranged for being stuck to an inner surface of an upper part of a packing box; a left and a right fixing faces(81) arranged on a front area of the upper surface protecting unit and bended toward the lower side for forming a rectangular hollow shape; and a left surface protecting unit and a right surface protecting unit arranged on a left and a right sides of the upper surface protecting unit and bended toward the left and the right sides for forming a rectangular hollow shape.
