PROCESS FOR PRODUCING TIMBER-COARSE ACTIVATED CARBON

摘要

PURPOSE: A process for producing an activated carbon with high hardness and high quality is provided which can use waste timber as raw material. CONSTITUTION: The process contains the steps of: pulverizing the carbide of timber material; mixing the pulverized carbide with 1.5-10 wt% of bentonite and 25-35 wt% of molasses; molding the mixture, followed by aging, drying and activating with steam.
