PURPOSE: An in-rush electric current preventing circuit is provided to prevent a mis-operation by reducing the in-rush current generated at the initial operating step of a microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: The in-rush electric current preventing circuit comprises: a filter unit(10) for removing a high frequency element included in the common alternating power supplied from the outside to supply to a relay unit(20); a low voltage transformer for transforming the common alternating power to the voltage for driving the control unit(80) and supplying to the control unit; a relay unit for supplying the common alternating power to a kitchen lamp(25), a cooling fan motor(30), a turntable driving motor(40) and a high voltage transformer by the control unit.
