PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent device and manufacturing method thereof is provided to maximize the insulation efficiency between the first and second electrodes and light luminescent efficiency and reduce the resistance of the electrode. CONSTITUTION: The organic electroluminescent device and manufacturing method thereof comprises: an insulation layer(33) formed on a substrate; plural first electrodes(35) over the insulation; an organic EL layer(36); plural second electrodes(37) line vertically formed on the first electrodes; plural grooves(34) separating the second electrodes and formed on the first electrode and insulation layer; and connecting lines(32) connecting the first electrodes.
