PURPOSE: An emergency warning device for a railway is provided to prevent a big accident by informing the driver of a running train when an obstacle occurs at the railway. CONSTITUTION: The emergency warning device for a railway comprises the steps of: installing a sensor(70) or an emergency button for an obstacle at a crossing road(40) in the rail(30); stopping the train right away by the first obstacle generator's operation of the emergency button or informing the driver running on the railway of the obstacle confirmed by the sensor(70) with voice through a radio transmitter.
