PURPOSE: An option card expansion device of an industrial controller is provided to improve an expansion by additionally providing to an industrial controller and an option card a hardware and a software capable of supporting plug-and-play function. CONSTITUTION: The option card expansion device of an industrial controller comprises: an address buffer(202) for pointing an address of a memory; a data buffer(204) for reading data from the memory; and a decoder(206) for activating one of selectable memories, wherein an option card(110) insertable to an expansion slot is sequentially supplied with stored content in a memory at power-on.
