<p>PURPOSE: A pipe diameter calculation method in pipe design system is provided to precisely calculate required pipe diameter by numerical analytic method according to required flow rate. CONSTITUTION: The pipe diameter calculation method in pipe design system comprises: the first step modeling pipe design information in graphic; the second step inputting design flow rate per terminal and design conditions of pipe system, then tracking the path between the terminal and a pump; the third step calculating the flow rate and the ideal diameter of respective unit pipe, then selecting most nearest commercial diameter; and the forth step calculating total extension length and total weight of respective pipe.</p> |
