PURPOSE: An abnormal state judging method of a wheel velocity sensor is provided to quickly sense the detective of a rotor and an air gap and to previously prevent the secondary accident by warning the state to a driver. CONSTITUTION: The abnormal state judging method of a wheel velocity sensor comprises the steps of:calculating the average speed difference between wheels by using the wheel velocity; comparing the car speed with the standard car speed; comparing the standard value with the calculated average speed difference; and performing the warning movement by judging the wheel velocity sensor is abnormal if the standard value is larger than the calculated average speed difference.
