PURPOSE: A rail structure of a plane color cathode ray tube is provided to previously prevent the howling phenomenon by an outer shock. CONSTITUTION: The rail structure comprises: a panel(1) having a fluorescent film painted in its inner side; a funnel(2) fixed on the rear edge of the panel(1); a rail(6) fixed inside of the panel(1); a shadow mask(7) fixed on the rail(6) to sort colors; and the upper face of the rail(6) where the shadow mask(7) is welded, formed to be inclined downwards as the upper face of the shadow mask(7) goes along the outside.
