METHOD OF FIXATION OF SPACER FOR FIELD EMISSION DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method of fixation of a spacer for a field emission display(FED) using a static junction is provided to fix a spacer onto an accurate position and to improve the process yield rate and the reliability of the display device. CONSTITUTION: A method of fixation of a spacer for a field emission FED comprises the steps of: forming a fixation groove to insert and fix a spacer on a conductive fixing substrate(10); inserting and fixing the spacer into the fixation groove; forming a transparent electrode(12) and a fluorescent substance(14) onto the upper substrate; forming photosensitive film pattern(16); forming fleet glass layer(18) onto the exposed transparent electrode; removing the photosensitive film pattern; and combining after arranging and contacting the fleet glass layer on the upper section of the spacer.
