摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface interpolation distance obtaining device which measures, even if an object with a plane surface or a curved surface with no pattern in the surface, its 3-dimensional position, orientation, tilt, and normal direction of the objective surface with ease and accurately. SOLUTION: Left and right color image-pickup means 11L and 11R which, provided with a constant interval, image-pickup an object synchronously; left and right RGB converters 13R, 13G, 13B, 15R, 15G, and 15B which convert the video signal outputted from each color imaging means into the primary-color signal; left and right coding circuits 14L and 14R which generate color code of pixel unit based on the primary-color signal from each RGB converter; and parallax calculation means 17L, 17R, 19, 20-1, and 20-2 wherein, based on the comparison of the same color code in the same horizontal scan period which is encoded by the left and right coding circuit, the parallax at both ends in the horizontal direction of an object corresponding to the color code is calculated respectively, while the intermediate parallax of object is interpolated based on the parallax at the both ends; are provided.
