PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigation system makes a call which to an arbitrary point possible to be performed without requiring any operation of a user, by transmitting a signal with a registered telephone number of a goal when the distance to the goal is shorter than a set transmission distance. SOLUTION: A map data base 12 stores map data required for searching or guiding a course. A goal, telephone number thereof, and latitude and longitude corresponding to them are registered in a telephone number data base 13. A portable telephone connection judging section 14 judges that a portable telephone has beam connected with a navigation system. An automatic dial section 15 transmits a signal automatically through a portable telephone. A current position calculating section 16 calculates a current position based an a GPS data, or the like. A course searching section 17 searches a course to the goal. A remaining distance calculating section 18 calculates the remaining distance to the goal. Judging section 19 judges whether the current position has entered an area of set telephone office number or not. |
