PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a high reception performance of a radio selective cell receiver employing an externally mounted antenna in the radio selective calling receiver that can receive a radio wave by both a loop antenna and the externally mounted antenna. SOLUTION: This radio selective call receiver that can receive a radio wave by both a loop antenna 11 and an externally mounted antenna 14 can ensure high reception performance with the externally mounted antenna 14 while the loop antenna 11 connects to the receiver by connecting an externally mounted antenna matching circuit 13 consisting of an impedance matching section 13a, a tuning section 13b and a DC component elimination section 13c to an input means of a high frequency amplifier circuit 12.
