PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monitoring equipment by which the intensity of a radiation inside an apparatus to be monitored is measured directly. SOLUTION: A scintillation fiber 28 is arranged inside a radiation removal device 10, an evacuation pipe 14 and an evacuation pipe 28. At this time, when a radiation which is contained in an off-gas is incident on the scintillaton fiber 28, scintillation light due to the incidence of the radiation is transmitted via the scintillation fiber 28, an optical fiber 38 and an optical fiber 40. The number of light emitting operations per time of the scintillation light is found by a computing circuit 60, and its computed result is displayed on a display 62.
