PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change sizes and to enhance operability. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal keyboard device has a liquid crystal panel 3 which displays images of keyboards, etc., in accordance with a drive signal, a touch panel 2 which is arranged on this liquid crystal panel 3, a liquid crystal panel driving circuit 9 which drives the liquid crystal panel 3, a touch panel driving circuit 10 which drives this touch panel 2 and detects key touch positions, a read-only memory device 7 which stores the key array of the keyboard, etc., an image enlarging and reducing circuit 8 which enlarges and reduces the images of the keyboard, etc., and an interface circuit 12 which delivers key codes to an electronic musical instrument. A central processing unit 6 is constituted in addition thereto in such a manner as to display keyboard images on the liquid crystal panel 3, to detect the operated keys among the displayed keys by the key touch positions of the touch panel 2, to recognize pitches, to deliver the key codes to the electronic musical instrument and to output scale information. |
