PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner and an electrophotographic liquid developer being safe to an environment and capable developing at a high speed by imparting sufficient electric chargeability to a toner in an yellow electrophotographic toner and an yellow electrophotographic liquid developer capable of coping with the formation of a full color image. SOLUTION: (1) In a toner mainly composed of a coloring agent and a binder resin, an electrophotographic toner contains a compound classified into PY180 as a coloring agent and/or the derivative, and contains the binder resin having an acid value of 10 mgKOH/g to 100 mgKOH/g. (2) an electrophotographic liquid developer is formed by dispersing the toner in an electrically insulating carrier liquid.
