PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a high quality of small-sized motor which is of high output and is excellent in shock resistance, life, etc. SOLUTION: In a small-sized motor having an outside diameter of 3 mm or under which is equipped with a stator where a coil 2 for creating a rotating magnetic field, at the inside peripheral face of a generally cylindrical housing 1, and bearings 4 and 5 for bearing a rotary shaft rotatably are mounted, and a permanent magnet rotor, the base substance 10 of the rotor including the rotary shaft is made integrally of permanent magnet material. Furthermore, the whole surface of the rotor base substance is covered with a surface reforming film 11 excellent in slidability, and then it is magnetized to be a rotor.
