PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a broad band without deteriorating mutual communication capacity in the case of overlaying a base station of a broad band- code division multiple access W-CDMA with the same area and the same frequency band as a base station of a narrow band N-CDMA system. SOLUTION: A CDMA mobile station W-MS 116.1 conducts open loop control to control calculated transmission power based on received power from a CDMA base station W-BS 104.1 and N-BS 101.1, 2. Furthermore, the mobile station conducts closed loop control to control a transmission power ratio of each band with a control command from a W-BS 104.1 during the speech. Moreover, short period closed loop control can be conducted. On the other hand, the W-BS 104.1 measures reception power of each band similarly to the case with the W-MS 116.1 and sends a control command to control a transmission power ratio of each band to each of W-MS 116.1-so that the mean reception powers of all the bands are equal. |
