PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the distance information of an optical system from a defocus distribution information, even if no distance information of the optical system is directly obtained. SOLUTION: A defocus distribution measuring means for measuring 2-dimensional defocus distribution in the outside world; a storage means where a plurality of defocus distribution information at each outside world position conjugate with each focal point of an optical system is held as data in advance; and outside world position estimating means 301-311 which estimate outside world position conjugate with the focal point of a current optical system, through comparison between the defocus distribution measured by the defocus distribution measuring means and the plurality of defocus distribution information stored in the storage means; are provided. |
