PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a positioning accuracy of a light transmitting/receiving element, while maintaining a high shielding effect with a metallic member. SOLUTION: A casing 1 is made by blanking and bending a metallic conductive plate, a margin space for escape of burr parts of a light transmitting/ receiving element is provided within the casing 1, positioning members 3a to 3c, 4a, 4b, 21a and 21b are provided to restrict positioning of the light transmitting/receiving element, and a projection 22 is provided to prevent sliding down of the element by pushing the element with it.
