PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an X-ray machine compact and thin by reducing the dimension of a substantial part irradiating and detecting an X-ray image to the irreducible minimum and to protect an X-ray image detection means while the machine is transported and stored. SOLUTION: A panel case 2 and a control case 3 are superposed on each other and freely turnably coupled by a joining means 4, and the X-ray image detection means 5 is arranged in the case 2 and a control means 6 is arranged in the case 3. Besides, an internal cable 7 connecting the detection means 5 and the control means 6 is set so that image data read out from the detection means 5 by the control means 6 are transmitted outside the X-ray machine from the control means 6 through the cable 8.
